Agencies party to the Indigenous Services (IS) Collective Agreement are invited to a complimentary orientation session on October 14, 2026 from 12:00-1:00 pm that will discuss the new classification system negotiated under MOU #31.The parties have agreed that the new Indigenous Services Job Evaluation Plan (ISJEP) and updated Maintenance Agreement & Classification Manual will be fully implemented effective October 21, 2026 for both delegated and non-delegated jobs under the 2026-2029 IS Collective Agreement.
This session will provide an overview of the ISJEP, including:
• Background on how the ISJEP was developed;
• ISJEP Benchmarks and the Public Service Job Evaluation Plan (PSJEP);
• Processes for establishing new/materially changed jobs;
• Classification dispute resolution mechanism for both delegated and non-delegated jobs; and
• Preparing for implementation.
CSSEA encourages all IS Agencies impacted by this change to attend this session.
The session will be taking place at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel at 1128 West Hastings Street.
