Low Wage Redress Adjustments

Main Content

In the recently ratified Community Living and General Services collective agreements, three low wage redress adjustments were agreed upon. They were agreed to be effective six months after the date of ratification to increase the chances of being funded in a timely manner. The three low wage redress adjustments are effective the first full pay period on or after November 21, 2026 (Note: November 21, 2026 may be used in the linked documents as short-hand for the effective date) and are as follows:

  1. Eliminating current Step 1 of the JJEP Wage Grid
  2. Health sector comparability adjustment for Grid 10 classifications
  3. Layered-Over Paraprofessional Supervisors where there is no existing supervisor benchmark in use, to be compensated at a rate of one additional grid or a minimum of eleven and seven-tenth percent (11.7%) above the highest job supervised

Details about each low wage redress adjustment can be found here. The November 21, 2026 wage grid can be found here.
