Updated Temporary Market Adjustments (TMAs) to April 2026 wage rates are now available for Employers covered by the Supportive Housing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) dated August 28, 2024 as updated and included in the CSSEA tentative agreements reached in April 2026. That MOA provided for the April 2025 TMAs but the 2026 TMAs were not yet determined.
The April 2026 TMAs have been finalized and apply to both the CSSEA and (now) HEABC members listed in the August 28, 2024 MOA (the HEABC members continue to be covered by the CSSEA collective agreements until April 1, 2027). The TMAs apply only to the classifications listed in the MOA.
The TMAs are as follows and should be implemented upon receipt of funding from BC Housing. BC Housing has been notified of these adjustments. For convenience, we are also including the April 2025 TMAs for reference.
April 1, 2025
Following the ratification of CSSEA and Community Health collective agreements, both the JJEP Grid 11 classifications and the target Community Health Grid 34 received a 3% General Wage Increase, effective the first full pay period on or after April 1, 2025, resulting in the following new TMA amounts:

In addition, effective the first full pay period on or after April 1, 2026, the shift premium rates are to be increased as follows to keep pace with the adjusted CH rates:
- Afternoon: $0.45 per hour (from $0.25 per hour)
- Night: $2.50 per hour (no change)
- Weekend: $0.50 per hour (no change)
November 21, 2026
CSSEA’s first LWR increase under the concluded collective agreements will come into effect the first full pay period on or after November 21, 2026 and will eliminate JJEP Step 1 but this will have no impact on Supportive Housing TMAs. As Step 1 has already been eliminated under the Supportive Housing MOA, no further action will be needed in November.
Future TMAs for April 2027 and April 2028 will be confirmed closer to those dates.
