The Annual General Meeting (AGM) adjourned by the membership on October 1, 2013 in Nanaimo will reconvene on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Vancouver at the Sheraton Wall Centre, Pavilion Ballroom. 3rd Floor, South Tower, 1088 Burrard Street.
We understand the financial hardship a second day of meeting presents to many members; however it is necessary to conclude the business of the 2013 AGM and at this key time for the sector it is important for the membership to fully participate in the process.
Registration for the AGM is free. To speed up the registration process on the day of the AGM members are encouraged to register using the online registration form or using the attached registration form.
A copy of the agenda for the meeting is provided below:…
RGB Enterprises is holding workshops to develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC’s bully and harassment regulations on November 27and 29 in Vancouver and Nanaimo/Parksville respectively.
The cost of the all day workshop is $439 per agency plus $100 per person if an agency would like to send more than one employee. As an accredited CSSEA third-party service provider, RGB Enterprises is offering the workshops at a preferred, reduced rate.

As required under Article 6.06 (2) of the Constitution and Bylaws, CSSEA is providing notice to the membership that the association’s Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in Nanaimo, has been adjourned and will be reconvened at a future date.
The intent of the motion to adjourn is to allow for the divisional membership more time for thorough discussion on matters regarding collective bargaining and the election of panel and board members.
CSSEA will provide no less than 14 days’ notice of when the AGM is to reconvene, which will occur at a date to be determined, but no later than January 23, 2014, per Article 5.04.…
