Associates are invited to complete the 2014 Associate Compensation and Employee Turnover Survey. This is the first time CSSEA has invited associates to participate and we are excited to be able to provide you with this opportunity.

Eric Peraro rejoined the Community Social Services Employers Association (CSSEA) in December 2011 as Director of Research and Knowledge Management department. His team’s responsibilities include providing labour market and compensation data, analysis and costing support during collective bargaining, the joint job evaluation program (JJEP), information technology infrastructure and data systems. He previously held the role of Compensation and Benefits Coordinator at CSSEA from 2000 to 2003, in which he led the Employers’ team that developed the Community Social Services Joint Job Evaluation system and provincial wage schedule.… |

Appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in September 2011, Gentil Mateus joined CSSEA with over 20 years of multi-faceted experience in human resources, leadership, change management, collective bargaining and community engagement. Gentil came to CSSEA from the Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC) where he held a variety of positions, including Corporate Director of Employee and Labour Relations, Vice-President of Human Resources (interim) and Vice-President, Corporate Services & System Innovation. He has served on the Advisory Board for Okanagan College, the board of the Occupational Health and Safety agency for health care (OHSAH) been a member of the Rotary Club of Kelowna and the Rotary Club of Trail and is co-founder of the Friends of Children Foundation, a charitable organization committed to helping families with sick children in BC’s Kootenay region.… |

Doris joined CSSEA in April, 2016 as Manager of Communications and in her role, produces member communications, organizes CSSEA’s Annual General Meeting and Conference, manages the BC Community Social Services Awards of Excellence and conducts outreach with potential community partners. Doris was previously Senior Communications Specialist and Editor at the Association of BC Forest Professionals, where she was responsible for organizing a yearly conference and trade show attended by forest professionals working in government, consulting and industry. She was also tasked with producing a widely read 32-page bi-monthly magazine, which discussed forestry trends and research. Doris received her start in communications at CSSEA, where she served as Communications Coordinator from 2009-2012. Prior to stepping into communications, Doris worked in journalism and reported for the Vancouver Sun, CBC Television and CBC online. She holds a Masters of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both from the University of British Columbia.… |
