Satvinder Basran is Community Social Service (CSS) Early Intervention Program Coordinator, which serves a joint program between CSSEA and CSSBA to support members and their staff. He brings over 20 years of direct experience in community development, program operations, administration, and human resources & labour relations in the community social services sector. Over his tenure he has worked in community living, immigrant services and harm reduction services serving children, youth, immigrants, refugees, agricultural workers, individuals with developmental disabilities and the homeless. Over the past decade, he lead the CSS WorkSafeBC Pilot Project at the provincial level, which received recognition and support from the sector. Building on the Pilot Project, his work contributed to the creation of Community Social Services Health & Safety Association of BC, where he served as its first Chief Executive Officer. |

Gurkiran (Kiran) Gill joined CSSEA in September 2024. Prior to that, she spent three years at a leading law firm in Surrey, McQuarrie Hunter, in its commercial litigation department. She also articled and worked as a summer student there. Kiran received her law degree from the University of Victoria and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) at the Beedie School of Business at SFU. Kiran has a passion for human resources and contributing to her community. |

Jessica Gill joined CSSEA in October 2024. She articled at a leading law firm in Vancouver, Fasken, and concentrated her development in the Labour, Employment, and Human Rights group. Jessica received her law degree at the University of Alberta and also holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She also held various positions in the private sector and worked in the Research and Communications department of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Jessica is a long-time avid soccer player and coach. |
Alexandra InzunzaAdvocate |
Alexandra joined CSSEA in January 2023. She possesses experience in this sector having been employed at Connexus Family and Children Services 10 years ago as a support worker. She has since furthered her education by getting degrees in Psychology and Law, and gaining work experience in a variety of social justice roles where she provided services to individuals in need, both the Lower Mainland and London, UK. She was called to the BC Bar in 2022. |

Mike joined CSSEA in April 2023 and brings with him extensive experience at Interior Health Authority, having worked in a variety of labour relations and HR roles there, from Corporate Director, Employee & Labour Relations; HR Operations Lead; Labour Relations Specialist; and a Human Resources Consultant. In his most recent positions as Corporate Director and HR Operations Lead, he led the Human Resources function for all pandemic response initiatives and directed the Labour Relations team in managing approximately 1000 grievances per year and coordinating all of the daily collective agreement consultations with IHA Managers. Mike has also represented IHA in a variety of arbitration settings. |

Vangie Johnson joined CSSEA in June 2018 as Administrative Assistant, primarily supporting the HRLR Services Department. Vangie possesses many years of experience in areas such as communications, HR, project management and governance. Her most recent position was Senior Executive Assistant at Ernst & Young, where she supported the Managing Partner for Government and the Public Sector. |

Joanna joined CSSEA in January 2023. She is an accomplished and experienced labour relations practitioner who has been working for one of CSSEA's members, Community Living Victoria, for the past seven years as Director of Human Resources. Before that, she worked at another of our members, Integra Support Services, in a number of roles including the Director of Human Resources. In 2020, she was awarded the HR Professional of the Year by the BC and Yukon Chartered Professional HR Association. |

Kathryn Rogers recently joined CSSEA in July 2022 after roles as an Industrial Relations Officer/Investigator at the Employment Standards Branch. Before that, she held a number of legal and consultant positions in forensic accounting, online legal resources, economic crime, and mental health organizations. She received her law degree in London, United Kingdom and articled in Alberta in 2015. |
